I used to be Poppy Bradford, but I happened to marry a guy with a cool, nature sounding last name that matches Poppy nicely, so I’ve been Poppy Shell since 1977. No one EVER forgets my name. I used to write for my home-town newspaper in Silverton, Oregon, AND I wrote a potty-training manual years ago (I have five grown kids, five grandkids), so it sounds like Poppy is a good writer’s name.    ALOHA AGAIN: Do you of you remember the W.C. Fields movie where his daughter is named Poppy? I think it’s title is Poppy, but not sure. I saw that movie decades ago, and it was the very first time I had ever heard anyone other than myself called Poppy. Just a memory about us rare Poppy gals.
